About

Welcome to National Blog Posting Month!

National Blog Posting Month is the epicenter of daily blogging! People who want to set the habit of blogging by doing it every day for a month, including weekends, can come here for moral support, inspiration, and the camaraderie that only marathon blogging can provide.

If you'd like to get started, just sign in or sign up in the box on the right that says "Welcome to NaBloPoMo." Then you can set up your profile and explore the site to see what NaBlo offers and who else is here.

Click the FAQ tab for a basic explanation of how things work and how to get on this month's blogroll, and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to drop an e-mail to nablopomo@gmail.com.

Welcome!

P.S. You must be a blogger to join NaBloPoMo. Sorry to be a meanie but people found adding commercial posts, recruiting information, graphic adult material, spam, or plagiarized work to profiles, groups, or forums will be banned.

"Our Actions Speak Louder Than Our Words"

John 5:31-47 "What I do speaks on my behalf and shows that the Father has sent me."

who is traveling. His ambition is to find some land and protest with a
group of people for public ownership. We all have our goals and
ambitions, an… Continue

Journey of Conversion: Lent Retreat - Week 5

[first posted on Creo en Dios!]

This week was the fifth gathering of those participating in the Lent Retreat in Daily Living I'm offering both at St. Hubert and at the University of St. Thomas. As we do each week, the participants started by spending time in small groups, sharing something of their prayer experiences from this past week. I then gave a talk that focused on the difficulties that sometimes arise for us as… Continue

March 17, 2010 "St. Patrick's Day Limerick"

March 17, 2010 “St Patrick’s Day Limerick”

My hat partied hard today and came home in quite a stupor so I penned this little ditty:

I had more than a few

Daring to Become a Doctor

I did it. I'm so proud of myself. I registered for my first class on my way to becoming a doctor. The class, with a daunting name, is taught by one of the professors who first oriented me into the pre-medicine program, and he and I have already started corresponding in terms of accommodations for the lab portions of the course. The nice

Packages of Life...

What if…

img_0003-2.JPG

I walked into a room and there on the table sat an array of packages. Wow, I think to myself, what a fantastic surprise! As I look closer, a package wrapped in black and white polka dotted paper tied with on over-sized magenta bow catches my eye. Hmmm, I wonder what could be in this beautiful package?
