NaBloPoMo

National Blog Posting Month

I'm still posting daily.... AND I CAN'T STOP!!! Since I started on October 31st, this makes the 36 consecutive days of blogging. My previous record was something like 5. But, I repeat, I can't stop!! Esp. since someone is basically playing chicken with me to see who'll stop blogging first. I CAN'T LOSE BUT I WANT TO STOP BLOGGING EVERY DAY. Or alternately not feel weird for not posting daily. When does this wear off?!!?!?

Lmao. I forced myself not to blog the on December 1st. There's nothing wrong with posting everyday, though, especially if you have things to say.....lots of people do! So just enjoy...and good luck with your mini-competition. :D

it hasn't worn off for me, either...in fact, it's gotten worse. i've joined more blogging communities, i've started another blog...someone help!

I'm with you. Not only has NaBloPoMo not worn off, but I'm voluntarily participating in Holidailies too, lmao. Seriously though, while I don't need to post 7 days a week, I like to post 4-5 days a week as both a writing exercise and as a way of letting off steam. I think I'd break things if I couldn't use my blog as a steam valve. And, there are worse things in the world that you could be doing with your spare time. Ya know???

I haven't stopped either, but I've been a once-a-day blogger (unless the server's down) since I started. I even blogged every day during a four day power outage thanks to the library's wi-fi.

I know this is an incredibly selfish reason, but I see my hits drop like a (insert analogy -- something large and heavy dropping) on the rare occasions I skip a day.

Lol. Except I'm sooo afraid that he's as stubborn as I am and will keep posting until one of us dies.

ok now that is a crack-like addiction! LMAO @ going to the library!! that's hilarious.

Nothing wrong with using the library for its internet connection. It's there for this sort of thing - or so I was told when I was doing work experience at a library...

I think it great that you can blog every day. Wish I had that gusto. I am trying but life gets in the way some days.

Oh good, then join me and others for this week's "Drop and give me 100" 100 word challenge.

I too have been posting more or less daily since November. It was a good exercise that's been carrying over.

LOL! I *try* to post every day too. It's one of my "things." ;)

I have to admit that I let my entry-a-day habit slip a bit after November, but I am more mindful about updating my blog - especially after one reader complained in another forum in January that I hadn't updated my blog. And I'd only left it alone for three days... ...I can remember when I started that updates tended to come once every three weeks!
