There was an email? I got no email. Typical. Ning deluges me in emails I don't want, and doesn't send me the ones I might actually want to see. Sigh.

There was an email, S.E., but it said Ning was trying to have it resolved by yesterday.

Whew, thought this was just me too! Was thinking what kind of a geek am I that I can't figure out how to do this, so glad I'm not alone.

Thank gods that I have confirmation that I'm NOT going insane. I've got a friend on here and I don't know how many times I've looked on her profile trying to find the button that will let me add her as a friend. o_O

I am having the same problem. I can invite friends to join NaBloPoMo but I can't add friends who are already using the site.

Still no success with adding friends. How frustrating. If anyone finds a cure let me know!

I can't add friends... or figure out a way to change my profile ID! That is even more bothersome, because I can't remember this random string of numbers and letters! haha.

I've been horribly depressed because I have no friends. Then I realize that Add Friends button still isn't showing up anywhere. Anyone know when this is expected to reappear? It's one of the main reasons for posting here.

I too don't see how to add friends anywhere! I haven't received an email about the issue either. Someone did add me as a friend but I have no idea how she did it. I was able to add her when I went to her page but I don't know how to initiate it.

I would really like to see an acknowledgement from the people who run this site so that we know that they are both aware of the problem and working to solve it. It's a pretty fundamental problem.
