Are there any others trying to do both NaNoWrimo and NaBloPomo? I did NaNoWriMo last year and I felt really accomplished so I'm trying it again this year. I heard about NaBloPoMo and said, "Why not?"
I don't really have an idea for my book, so November should be interesting.
I'm considering doing both. I may just flip a coin--heads I do both, tails I don't. It may just push me over the edge to try and accomplish NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo, along with my other writing and life commitments. Of course, I could give up eating and sleeping . . .
I'm doing both too. I already blog almost every day, so that should be a snap. Or, at least one will feed the other. And, in a pinch, you could always blog about your novel writing. Or have one of your characters blog.
I'm doing both. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. I did this last year, too, and the bags under my eyes could very well have taken me overseas. ;)
Kerri--Obviously, based on your last post, you will be writing a comedy of some sort. Your post made me laugh out loud!!! And then I read it to my husband who still thinks I'm crazy to be considering this double-venture into writers hell.
I am doing both as well. Sitting on the subway yesterday I finally came up with an idea for the novel. I was a bit panicked that all I had was a big bunch of nothing to write about. But, then I got An Idea. I didn't have my notebook with me to jot down the ideas - but I scribbled in a mad rush on the back of some receipt I had in my backpack.
Okay--what if you have not one, not two, but four different novel ideas. How do you choose one? Should I write them all down on slips of paper and put them in a hat and pick one that way? This is supposing that I go to the dark side and do both NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo. It is getting easier to type both those acronyms.
I'm in for both. I'm a preacher. You know what they say about people in my line of work loving to hear their own voice. Some of us like to see it in writing, too.
Yep. I'm doing both. I wouldn't advise going into NaNoWriMo without any book ideas. I tried free-writing my way through NaNo last year with only a vague idea of what my story was about. I finished, but with an uneditable mess.
