Well I just had something really strange happen...
I went to the randomizer, and oddly one of my sites came up (for the first time)- but it wasn't my blog, it was the blog page on our myspace page, which we don't use! our blog is on typepad and the myspace blog page refers people there. I have no idea how the myspace page would have become associated with the randomizer, as it's not on my profile anywhere nor is it the page that the blogroll links to.
I was wondering if it was possible to hit your own site. Thanks for answer the question! Also, NaBloPoMo Randomizer is some highly addictive, sick, voyeuristic application...I love it!
well, yeah, apparently it's possible to hit your own site...but it's not the correct site! it makes no sense to me how the randomizer managed to find my myspace page.
I've lately run across quite a few blogs that don't seem to have anything to do with NaBloPoMo. One blog that I ran across (sorry, can't remember the name and the URL doesn't show anywhere) just had two entries and neither of them reference NaBloPoMo. Some others I've run across don't seem to fit, either. Anyone else experiencing this?
Ok guys, this spam thing is getting seriously out of control. I just hit five spam sites in a row, one of which attempted to assault me with spyware. Is there any way to set up a "report spam" button? Otherwise I'm going to have to stop using the Randomizer, which would be a huge disappointment.
I've been following this thread for a few days and I too am experiencing all of the problems already mentioned. I get a few newly signed up blogs each day and then only the same 50 or so that I've already seen. Is there anything being done about this? (Update please!) Otherwise I will be forced to start clicking blog by blog on the blogroll page to get my daily blog fix. Poo.
One other thing I've noticed that I haven't seen commented upon here (unless I missed it) is that when I first joined NaBloPoMo on 11/7, I got an impressive number of hits on my blog from the Randomizer but since 11/9, I haven't received a single hit from Randomizer. I seem to have fallen off of Randomizer's radar. I've checked my profile and my url is still there. Randomizer just doesn't like me anymore. Sniff.
