How many blogs is too many?

I have five and each one has it's own "topic theme". I would say too many is when your blogs almost compete with each other. If you have a food blog and then a cooking blog? Well, is there a way to combine the two? Each one of my blogs has a unique topic of their own.

Question for those of you insane enough to have more than 5 blogs; because really, I don't know how I plug through with the five.:

Do you post on all those blogs daily? How often, on average, do you post to each one? And is blogging your main job? Having a full time job, I don't know how I keep up with the five and still get enough sleep to function sometimes. I'm just curious.

I think it you are able to write often (and well) in all of your blogs, then you don't have too many. If, however, you find it difficult to keep up with them, maybe you should combine some. Happy blogging! :-)
