Erm, sticky topic. See, here in Lithuania when you say "I'm Lithuanian" that more or less means you are excluding yourself from any national minority you might otherwise have been counted into. I don't know if this is clear, but we Lithuanian Jews usually refer to ourselves as exactly that or just Jews. Nevermind, I was just trying to be clever.
Ah ha. I thought it might be something like that. I, personally, am a Scottish nationalist, but that doesn't mean that i think there is such thing as "pure" Scottish blood. I'm a civic nationalist, rather than an ethnic one. If you were born in Scotland, then you're Scottish, as far as I'm concerned.
Not a lot of Jews in Scotland, though. The only ones I can think of, off the top of my head, is Ivor Cutler. And, then, there's my friend, Billy, who's a really talented artist.
Yes, I quite like the sculptures in those photos! And as for Ivor Cutler - well, I'll have to look him up in more detail, he seems interesting. Thanks!
I'm not sure about that. Am German and am married to an American Mexican. Maybe it's the Mexican in him that makes him different.
No luck with German man ;)
