I ran my first marathon in May (Flying Pig in Cincinnati), and an not sure if I'm ready to tackle another yet!
I ran two half marathons in September -- Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon in Virginia Beach and the Philadelphia Distance Festival (also put on by the Rock 'n Roll race folks, so I will get a special medal for doing both races).
Upcoming, I don't have anything big. There's a Halloween 5K on Sunday (I still need to come up with a costume), some Thanksgiving 10Ks (one, a "Turkey Chase" on Thanksgiving morning), and a 15K in December.
I'm not sure what I'm doing next year yet. I'll be back in Virginia Beach again, but that's not until Labor Day. I think we're going to do the new Rock 'n Roll race in San Antonio in November 2008 (will probably choose the 1/2 over the full).
Oh, and we may be thinking of trying a triathlon -- Iron Girl does one near us, it's a sprint triathlon, is women-only, and we hear it is excellent for beginners!
I really want to do Las Vegas, but it's a terrible time of year for me. I sing in a community choir and the holiday season is packed with concerts! Still, one of these days, I may have to do it!
I may be signing up for one in May but it depends on my training in the next few months. Recently I have had some knee trouble but I am on the mend. Can't wait to get into it more though.
I have stated to others that I am committed to the Napa Valley Marathon on March 2, 2008. This will be my fifth attempt at a decent showing. All I really want is to have a time that is reflective of my preparation. Between now and then, I am running the Route 66 half marathon on November 18 and a Jingle Bell Run 5k on December 8.

I thought about doing the Vegas 1/2, but a) it's on the hubster's bday and b) it's at altitude (granted, anything is altitude to me, I'm from sea-level).
So I'm doing the Seattle 1/2 on the Sunday after T'gvg. I'm still in denial that it's just over 3 weeks away: it'll be my first. Eek!
I have an 8k this weekend-first time with that distance-a 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, a 10k on December 1st in South Pasadena and possibly another one the following week. I'm sort of in love with these distances right now but I'm trying to get up the nerve to do a half marathon.
I ran my first marathon (Twin Cities) in October and because my time sucked I signed up for the Brookings (SD) Marathon in May and have promised my friend that I'll run TC again next year.
