NEW DIGS for The Great Plastic Challenge!

Turns out, folks who aren't even bloggers want in on this Plastic Challenge thingy.
So I've launched The Great Plastic Challenge here on Ning so that we can include our non-NaBloPoMo-ing friends and family. Please check it out!

I'd like to keep this thing going past November. I sure have more than four items I'd like to get rid of....Heck, I could probably ditch one per week all year.
So if you'd like to join up over there, it's easy seeing as you already have your Ning ID.

Sasha - wonderful idea. I've been thinking about trying to reduce my plastic consumption since the middle of October. Finding this on NaBlo and seeing that you've created 'the challenge' on ning is great. I'm also thinking about ways to re-use the plastic I have so that it doesn't become part of the North Pacific Gyre.
I made a little collage quilt of the gyre without the garbage patch last month: here.
