Here are some HTML badges for October bloggers!
You'll need to upload them to your hosting service and then link
back to
http://www.nablopomo.com. (Further
explanation below.)
You can right-click, ctrl-click, or drag any of the above badges to
your desktop. Then you'll need to upload the badge to a server. If
you have your own URL, you probably know how to upload an image
using an ftp (file transfer protocol) client. If you have a
Blogspot blog, you can go into the screen where you create a new
post and you should see a little button that looks like a photo
with a lot of blue sky. If you click on that button you'll get a
popup window that will let you browse your computer to find the
badge image you want to post, which will be on your desktop. This
will then upload the image onto Blogger's servers and allow you to
put a badge in a blog post. If you want to put a badge in your
sidebar, just copy the url that Blogger has given you for the badge
image (it will be something like
http://www.blogger1.photos.nablo07_micro.jpg)
and paste it like so between the quotation marks that come after
img src=
This bit of code will post the image and link it back to
nablopomo.com. You'll have to go into your blog template and paste
this whole line of code where you want it to show up in your
sidebar.
I have no information on uploading images in Wordpress-hosted
blogs, or LiveJournal or MySpace, but perhaps someone will provide
some help in one of the
forums if you leave a
request. And as always, if you've made your own badges and you want
to share them, leave a comment below and a URL where we can find
them!
Good luck and feel free to contact me at nablopomo {at} gmail {dot}
com if I can provide any other assistance.
