......to the 5th, as that will be my last day I feel required to do two blog posts a day--one here, one on my regular blog. My poor little brain is almost drained; in fact this morning it feels pretty empty. I posted about this before, and I still continue to try and figure this out. From my point of view, a blog is somewhere to write. You can post video, photos, art, etc. It is your diary-in-cybespace. For artists, it is a sketch-book-in-cyberspace. We post, get feedback, meet others in our field, sometimes make connections for work or just friends. A quick post as I attempt to catch up from a weekend of, for the most part, being out flat, and the sun is shining which means I will stagger out with camera in hand, trying to preserve Spring in digital.
Everything seems to be coming to life at once, the sheets of pollen change color as often as I change my mind. First the Maples, now the pines----the crabapple is in full blown bloom, or was yesterday before all the wind. Spring passes quickly here; it's just a short stop of the bus before chug… Continue

......in the nonstop week. Perhaps I should explain that a bit. My DH is full time with the Reserves, and frequently, as is the case now, works more than one weekend a month besides his day to day job with them. After a while, things get very blurry about what day of the week it is. One day melds right into the next, into the next....on and on. This day could not have come soon enough. I am doing NOTHING today other than work in my studio or go out and and shoot some photos of the Spring blossoms that are beginning to make a show.
