I'm a perky little weasel today and it's wholly inexplicable because lots of yucky things have been going on (the SF Bay oil spill is just heartbreaking and I'm Just not Going There today..) but I think I like it here on the Isle of Denial. I had this whole post up about how sucktastic the Democrats are right now and how I don't know who the crap I could - in conscience - vote for in that party anymore...but you know what? No. They're not even worth the time it takes to sum up the myriad of ways in which they are made of FAIL.

How cheesy is THIS? I had to play the Mary Tyler Moore show theme on my iPod and go for a brief, scenic "spin" at Union Square on Saturday after I got done with the graduate student information day. I didn't throw my beret into the air, though. One does have to adhere to some standards for decorum.
