In dreams

I had a particularly odd dream last night. I dreamt that I was in the cast of Heroes and I was in a scene with Matt Parkman where we were running through the streets of somewhere Roman, from what I could tell. Matt didn't have the required pass to get through to the next sectio…

The sound of the giraffe

I have often wondered what sound a giraffe makes, and it seems that many other people have, too. Just try search…

Birdsong

At the moment the lovely people at the BBC are encouraging people to listen to the dawn chorus. I usually wake up (although I don't usually get up) when the dawn chorus is in full swing, just as it's getting light. I find the birdsong comforting and relaxing and it's definitely among my favourite sounds. It's the sound of newness, hope,…

Cold-accompanying brain fog

I'm still not feeling very inspired to write about voices, despite having my long list of possible topics. Today, I will blame the fact that I have caught a cold from somewhere, despite not having had muchcontact with the outside world for the past few weeks - not sure how I managed that! The cold-accompanying brain fog has descended. I think this is more the result of lots of sneezing and having to wipe/blow nose every few seconds, rather than anything else.

So, instead of writing about voices I'm just going to write a little bit about the garden.

Thanks to my mum's kind assistance I have been able to do a bit of gardening this year. When mum was staying with us she…

I managed to do the badge... but I can't work out how to transfer my blog over here. I suppose I will have to cut and paste it - again I'll probably get round to that on November 30th!

If you have a widget-supporting sidebar, you can create a text box then cut and paste the html for the badge into it. My wordpress is probably set up differently from yours though because it's on my own site (and my sidebar still doesn't work 100% as it should do).

Hello! I still haven't got round to sorting out my profile or putting up badges! I'm so hopeless! Thank you for seeking me out here! I keep meaning to try and find people, no doubt I'll do that on November 30th...
