Boy, do I love January with little snow!!

I hope it lasts! I do miss the sunshine but I'll take it.... It has been wonderful traveling to work at 7 am and not having to worry about if I will be able to get out of my driveway. Or .... having to wake up my "soon to be 15 year old" son, Patrick, to shovel the driveway...Not that he minds but I always feel bad waking him up. Tomorrow, my boss announced that we can expect winds about 50 MPH but not to worry.. we are in a new school.... I'm not sure... I think I would feel safer in an older s…

Onward to Florida!

Unfortunately, I am not feeling too great today.... but, am heading to Florida tomorrow to surprise my Mom for her 70th birthday party. I am hoping the flushed head and nausea goes away soon. I am here at school teaching kids. The problem is: "I didn't feel this way when I woke up and came to school this morning." It hit me about 45 minutes ago. So.... unfortunately, I'm here and I will try to stay away from the kids as much as possible.

Coupons!!!

Coupons give me stress! When I was married, I didn't have to watch my spending as much. And... at one point, I decided no more coupons for me! I didn't use them nor did I have to for financial purposes! Well, ever since my parting of ways with my ex husband, I have used coupons. I love to travel so my reason is so I can save money to travel. The fact that there are so many coupons out there is stressful. I was just organizing all of my coupons in piles. Aldi Lasagna was pretty good!

I sometimes go to Aldi to get me through til I go to Wegmans, Martins, or Tops grocery stores. I know it is for lower income people and I know I don't qualify but I do enjoy the smallness of this store. I also like spending less on groceries. There are only 3 lanes as I call them. My boyfriend didn't believe me! Well, anyhow, I bought the large family size lasagna a couple of weeks ago to put in my freezer. Being that it is snowy, I decided I would bake it tonight. Winter is here! YUCK!

Living in a suburb of Rochester, New York, we have our share of snow. The snow belt.... I live here because my boyfriend is here and my good job is here. That's it! Maybe knowing that I will be moving within 9 years makes me not really invested in making this feel like home.
