We did it! Congratulations to everyone who completed NaBloPoMo's goal of a post a day for the month of November! If you are like I am, this has not only been a challenge but another creative outlet for your writing efforts. I hope you have enjoyed meeting this challenge as much as I have.
Good luck to all of you with regards to prizes. I don't expect to win anything as I've already won just by taking part.

I'm going to confess that I did not watch the debate last night on TV and that my only source of information about what went on is from the NPR report on todays news.
That being said, it doesn't surprise me that this so-called debate resembled more of a mud-slinging contest much like the Democratic YouTube debate earlier this year.
Did these people never take debate in high school or college?
Am I just too old fashioned and out of the mainstream to recognize debate any mo…

Only two more days and our quest is over. How have YOU done? I'm thrilled to report that I've managed a post a day here! It wasn't easy for sure!
Thinking up things to write about was never the issue. Finding the time to write them was.
What was your biggest stumbling block with the NaBloPoMo challenge? Did you take on any of the other challenges issued (two posts per day, etc?).
It's going to be exciting seeing who wins the prizes.
And while I'm sp…

MSN's Money has an article titled "Who's to Blame for the Mortgage Mess" and goes on to break out into 10 or so subparagraphs the who, what and when.
This quote just really got me
"Quite frankly, there was a race to lower standards to generate more loans," says a former mortgage broker with a major bank in the Chicago area. And for good reason: A merely "good" mortgage broker could easily take home $250,000 a year. But most of them were bringing in $500,000 to $750,000 as long a…

Although I set up SSQL BI on my computer a few months ago, I'm having the hardest time setting it up on a co-worker's computer! It's a real PITA if you know what I mean.
And although I've been looking for documentation online for the best way to do this, I'm coming up short. I don't understand why there isn't more about this available on the web, specifically on Microsoft's website.
Once I get it set up on her computer, then I'll get to teach her how to best use it and I've had…

"Hi there. I got here via Nablopomo. I’m so glad to hear your sister is living a full life. And I hope your friend’s husband the best with the treatments.
I am also a cancer survivor. Hodgkin’s. I was diagnosed soon after I turned 24. Just 10 weeks after my wedding. I had just graduated from college, started working, bought a house, everything was going so well and BAM. It was beyond devastating. I was healthy and the first in our extended or immediate family to have had cancer. I had 10 months of chemo and radiation.
I’m now in my 6th year of remission. We have 2 beautiful children and a newly launched business. We are very committed to fund cancer research. We’ve always done walks and so forth (this year we raised almost $2000, $700 of which from our own pockets). With our new business, we are donating a percent of ALL of our sales to children related charities. Our focus now is pediatric cancer but hope to expand the list as we grow. Our website is www.KangarooBoo.com
I wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for the millions and millions spent on research in the years before me. I was lucky. Many are not as lucky. So I firmly believe with more research, cancer would not be as big of a threat anymore."
