About Me:

My primary identity right now is that I'm 44 year old mother of a soldier serving in Iraq. I've started an NFP that sends toys to the soldiers to hand out to the children they encounter, and care packages and gifts for them to keep.

It is where I am at this time in my life, and what I'll do until this war is over, and my sons (they're all my sons & daughters) come home.

Then. I will choose something else. Wonder what it will be...

#23: On Censorship and Comment Moderation

To ice the cake, I awoke Thanksgiving morning to
another message from the infamous "Anon": a note explaining to me a few
reasons why we will never be lovers. As if I'd imagined that His or Her
referring to me as "Sweetie Pie" was indicative of a possible love
connection. Jesus.
