a group of parrots is known as a flock, unless they are chewing up your house, in which case, they are known as "a destruction"! if you take some pictures of your birds and send them to me, i might be able to identify them for you.

I was thinking of you this afternoon when we had a troop of parrots in our garden eating the loqurt tree. Not sure what type they were, but it is quite rare to get them in the garden. We see them in the neighbourhood when some of the fruit and nut trees bear fruit. What is the collective name for parrots?
