This evening I've been fiddling around with SezWho

It's a new thing which is working with Entrecard and will earn you/me points when we comment on other SezWho enabled blogs.

I don't know too much about it yet, and at the moment I think it looks a bit messy (those rating stars below the post) but we will see what happens.

If I decide I don't like it then it will only take a couple of click to remove it!

See, my blog is almost pure and angelic!!

Saw this in Tesco recently - needless to say I did not buy any!

The NHS obviously has too much spare money as they are replacing our computers yet again!

After all sorts of trials and errors I still cannot use StumbleUpon and I'm still disappointed.

It was a great way to spend a few minutes hours and in the process finding some great new websites.

I have had a guy who was somehow connected to StumbleUpon trying to help me, getting me to check the IP address I was connecting to and some other stuff, but it seems he gave up!

I have uninstalled, reinstalled both the current version and older versions.I have tried it not only in my regular Firefox but also in IE & Flock - still no joy.

I have removed or disabled most of all my other add-ons to no avail.

I then got my partner to install it on his computer in Firefox and guess what? It behaved exactly the same - NO GOOD AT ALL!

I am now wondering if it's something to do with our connection.. I have tried it both wirelessly and with the ethernet connection - still NO GOOD!

So I wonder if it's anything to do with the connection through my ISP?

Hmmmm Just wish I could get this sorted out!

If ANYONE has any ideas I'd be grateful and happy to try them!

Also - a few weeks ago I started another blog as a place to show some of the pictures I come across, but now I've changed my mind, don't have time for 2 blogs, so, if I wish to show any pix they will here here on this already very mixed bag blog.. until that is, perhaps I can use the official SU site!

This afternoon my partner and I went to the Mayhew Animal Home Open Day.

It's a re-homing centre for cats, dogs and rabbits.

I was expecting to see a very stark, cold depressing place but it was in fact very nice.

The cats have their own 2 level cubicles with cosy beds and toys in and they are let out to wander around I think when there are no visitors around, I believe they also have access to the garden.

I was hoping to see a cat that was maybe suitable for me to re-home but sadly all the current occupants were either very old, needy or not very social.

I know if I do get one it would be best to be a kitten so it will grow with us and not be already set in it's ways too much or too fearful due to past bad experiences.

Maybe if I wasn't working then one of the more needy ones would be OK, but I have to be realistic with time and commitments.
