Your membership is growing. In the fall, we have a lot of home grown honey sold in the mall. I wonder if they belong to someone's page. I am sure they would enjoy being here with you. Dr R

Thank you for all your helpful suggestions and ideas. I feel like maybe I should go to my first blog (my paid account on Live Journal) and start printing out everything from the beginning, then perhaps doing the same with the new blog. Someway I need some sort of outline. I'd like the book to be based on my life, yet written like a fiction novel. However, there's so much to write about, there's a lot of abuse, both as a child and as an adult, there are good things too... I'm not sure how to do it without pontificating to the point that the reader loses interest...

I also have diaries that I began keeping when I was 11, up until I found blogging 4 or 5 years ago, do you think I should use those as well?

I don't expect it to be a self help book or enlightened type stuff, what I really want to do is leave a legacy for my children and future grandchildren, etc. But, I wonder if I really want to share all the pain that I was in for so many years..

I'm going to google you after the holidays and check it out..

Thanks again for you advice. I look forward to hearing from you again.

That's wonderful! I'm terrible at keeping up with friends sometimes. I am still friends with my best friend from 3rd grade though :)

Blogging keeps me sane! I now have a place to vent because I never approach a teacher or a coach. My children know that if they have a problem to approach themselves.
As far as my PSR kids, I do what I can to reach the little darlings, usually they are quite charming, we just have had a couple of rough weeks. I do agree with you, actions 'speak' better than words, so I keep doing instead of preaching. Maybe I will reach one, (with some of my goodness, not my insanity).

Part of our existence is concerned with leaving something behind when we depart this earthly realm. We have children, that leaves a genetic code. We build houses, that leavea a place for someone to stay, we leave roads, bridges, monuments etc. I think there is a great possibility that we may benefit from what we do, even after we are gone. If the be so, then it would behoove us to make the best possible things out of our earthly lifetime. Do the best you can and the future will take care of itself.

Sharing who you are and what you know.

The best thing about putting down what you think, what you like and where we are going, is that many other people may see something that they can relate to or find a difference with. In either case, it gives rise to a better understanding of life and the meaning of all that we go through. Our time on earth is short and that is not easily recognized until you are way up in years, but one day, you will reflect, "Where did my life go and why do fast?" If you can relate to that and see some merit in… Continue

First it would be beneficial to define ones meaning of life. Life has hierarchical needs to maintain existence. Food, water, clothing and shelter are some of the basics. Once these needs or challenges are met, they are replaced by less basic needs or challenges. Without life, there is nothing for the one who has lost it .I am relating only to the materialistic and not spiritual. There are no small or large challenges, just challenges or needs or wants.
