- I come from 5 gererations of fisher man. My descendants came from La Rochelle France, I am Acadian and my ancestors escaped the deportation of the 1700s of Nova Scotia. I have 4 more years of cod, Lobster and Halibot fishing before I retire.

My cousin is doing a lot of this work. I will see if I can connect you to him. Unfortunately my paternal grandfather was an orphan to there are a lot of unanswered questions on my heritage.
