- i've been blogging for about 4 1/2 years now, and believe me i've gone up and down the love/hate rollercoaster of Teh Internet. i like things that make me laugh, get me inspired, make me think. i'm a fledgling freelance photographer and also plan to pursue some long-held writing-for-actual-money aspirations in the coming year.
i love watching movies that make my heart ache or laugh like a juvenile, savoring melancholy and holding my solitary moments dear. but of course i also try to see beauty in the small things and revel in the moment. i have an affection for I Love Lucy episodes and as a child was completely enamored with Bob Hope and Carol Burnett. my mother always said she found it frustrating that i'd roll on the floor laughing at their jokes but then matter-of-factly admit ignorance when asked if i had any idea what i was laughing at.
i currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat, 1 husband and no fur-less children.my maternal instinct says i'm just fine for now, but hey, who knows?we're nudging toward the "trying" phase of parenthood, but i do LOATHE the term.
