What a difference a month makes ...

I'm still here, but why? I'm posting every day on my personal blog, and now looking for work after having my contract suddenly and inexplicably terminated by Adoption.com, a circumstance I never would have predicted at the beginning of NaBloPoMo, but a lot can happen in a month even when you're busy posting blogs. For the moment, most of my work is happening on Paradise Preoccupied.

I can't stand the gloomy months of Northern Europe. Warm, sunny days make up for a lot, even a lack of cheese ... most of the time. I do still get a hankering, though.
