Time Keeps Slipping

Today's picture was taken back in October, I saw the hourglass in the 100¥ store and liked the design so I picked it up.I knew that it would lend itself to a lit macro shot. I wanted to try and capture the idea of time standing still, to do so I killed the ambient light and lit the glass using a strobe. I started off putting the timer on…
