- I'm a stay-at-home mom with two kids. Hannah, 10, and Justin, 14. I've been married for 16 years to Derek, a great man of God. I'm also a part-time freelance writer. I write devotionals and articles about life and family issues. Someday I'd love to write a book. And I'd love to start speaking to women about self image issues, abortion, shame and fear.

I'm thankful for:
a haircut and highlight today (it had been 6 months)
the warm sunny day in Colorado
my home
my health
my mother-in-law
my blogging buddies
the ability to see, smell, touch, taste
my heater--it's getting chilly at night
a variety of food in my fridge and cabinets
God's love

My two regular blog sites
I post regularly on two other blog sites.
The first one is my personal blog where I write about life, faith and family. I post pictures there too.
The second one is a blog for beginner to intermediate writers. My writing buddy Beth Vogt and I offer tips and encouragement to writers. We just started it a couple weeks ago and we are currently offering a CD giveaway. Come check it out!
