About Me:: I'm an English Creative Writing major at the University of Washington. My interests are very broad, but I can be picky at times about what I like. I have a quiet facade for the public, but when I'm at home I let my hair down. I LOVE to write, specifically scifi/fantasy. Sometimes (re: most of the time) my writing falls under the humor category, but when I really want it to come out serious I labor day and night to keep the tone right.

Information!!! It's what keeps the blood pressure low!

Finally had an information session about Rome today, at long last. And thankfully I wasn't the only one who was irritated it was so late; a girl came to the room early and mentioned how she hated it was held this late. <small>and this being the 10th year doing this program, I don't understand why they don't realize the earlier the better...</small>

Stress: My Enabler

I finally got my visa in. It's all such a horrendous hassle. I'm taking every two minutes to pause and hope that nothing is wrong with it, that everything will pass inspection (there was one tiny little section for the notary to fill out, but the notary I went to didn't know what to do with it and left it blank....@.@), and that I'm not going to have to make a mad dash later today or tomorrow morning in order to complete it and turn it in before 4PM tomorrow. Dear Myself,

I was sitting in my Chaucer class and something flashed. I kinda noticed some other people were bothered by it, too, but I just figured it was the old lights being crazy, so I paid it no mind. Possibly 10 seconds later, thunder! Long, rumbling, angry thunder! I hadn't felt so giddy since....well, probably since I found out my grades for autumn quarter '07, which was....an insanely long time ago.

And suddenly that whole giddy feeling dissipated.....

Well, first things first: Hi!

Now that's done and over with: I'm both a hopper from first GJ and now-kinda-sorta LJ. Yes, I get around a lot. It's the writer in me, I s'pose. The bulk of my posting will probably be done over in LJ, unless they commit more asshattery that somehow tops what they already have done.
