About Me:: My name is John Riutta and I am the creator of the blog Born Again Bird Watcher. Following over a decade with Leupold and Stevens Inc. as their product line development and market manager for birding and naturalist products, I am now changing the direction of my life and career better to employ my degrees in literature, education, and administration (BA, MA, and MBA respectively), to say nothing of my own personal interests and passions, to focus on the subject of bird watching and conservation. In short, I am becoming something akin to a “birding evangelist” if you will, spreading the word about the importance of bird conservation and the role individuals can play in furtherance of it.
