Busy weekend - all work and little fun

This weekend was a bit more stressful than I expected it to be. We threw out the old convertible sofa-bed we had in the office/guestroom. The previous Friday we had purchased a king-size bed that was supposed to be delivered this Saturday. Now we moved into this apartment in the middle of February and we still had the odd moving box standing around. So we unpacked the boxes, sighted and sorted stuff and threw out everything we didn't need any longer. That in itself usually causes me major distre…

Snow, snow and more snow

Woke up this morning to about four inches of snow. We got a kick out of putting both cats into the snow on our balcony. While Lilly didn't care and all, Maunzerl was totally excited. It was her first time seeing snow and standing in it wasn't what she had in mind when she was coming out of our bathroom where she tends to warm her belly and pawes on the heated tiles.

Snow, snow, snow - Winter is here

So I woke up this morning, looked out the window and everything was covered in snow. It looked absolutely gorgeous and I love when it has been snowing and everything seems to have quieted down a bit. Winter is finally here. Oh how I hope to get a couple of feet of snow not just a few inches. Sigh

What to do with used condoms?

Of course you dispose of them in your household trash and hope they wont resurface again.

This morning as I was checking all the news websites to get my daily fix I came across this. It is equally disgusting as it is sickening. The Headline read “Scrunchies made from used condoms”. You would think I surely must have found this in some supermarket tabloid. I am sorry to say that this is not the case. Computers and Internet

So I had no internet access over the weekend. For a computer addict like me this is the worst punishment. I have become so addicted to it I do my shopping online, I keep in touch online, I conduct my business online, I would not have a job if it weren't for computers. I take them for granted but when I think about it life without them would suck.
