ok, what? more? fine. ;)

I'm 32, married with no kids, but 2 kitties and 1 fabulous dog. I live in Vancouver, Canada, which is usually pretty damn fantastic. I aim to travel as often as I possibly can, to as many places as I can fit in.

I love live sports, but only watch hockey (go Nucks, go!) on TV. I also, usually, like cooking, reading, lifting weights and going to the gym, and I run my own PR business.

On the flip side of that coin, I've been dealing with some mild depression, which is manifesting itself in lack of motivation, interest and other fun things. The good news is, I'm working hard on fixing it and am completely willing to talk about it, and actually, throughout NaBloPoMo, i very likely will.

The other stuff that I talk about in a very upfront and honest way, is the fact that I used to be 210 lbs, and a size 16. Through exercise and proper nutrition, I dropped to 150 and a size 2. I'm back being a little heavier than that now, but only about 15 lbs, and I'm working on that. ;)

I figure that both of these are things that other people struggle with all the damn time, and finding someone who TALKS honestly about what I'm going through, and what works is pretty damn unusual. I'll also happily answer any questions people have too.

Dexter

Anyone on the NaBloPo network a Dexter fan? We're throwing a finale party and I was hoping to get some help from other fans with our party menu.

We're looking at pulled pork sandwiches (hi fav driving food) and blood oranges, a cake we can carve up shaped like a person w. raspberry filling, blood marys, jekyll island lager, ....

anything else you guys can think of? :)

CSS

i reallly need to learn CSS. I want to have a fancy pretty page like all the others I see on here who have put their own templates and headers and such together... <sigh> adding it to the list of shite i need to do.

actually - what i really need is someone to walk me through it in PLAIN language. hrm... wonder if there's a CSS for dummies out there?? make it easy, simple and plain language and just tell me what i need to do.
suggestions?

i am awake. correction - i am STILL awake. yes, it's 7 ish, PST and I'm up. it's not good. in fact, it's actually bad. i'm only just NOW starting to be sleepy. i'm having that moment of "screw it - i'm taking the camera out and taking pretty pictures and then i'll go to my exercise class and THEN i'll sleep. tilll i have to go to two launch parties.

hahahaha. i know, i know. but there are perks to being here and there is some serious truth to really feeling 'canadian' when you live here. its a good experience. saying that, i imagine its a matter of time before coming home, and minna nd jack will play, play, play! (we can have a drink)

thanks, colleen! My 200-mile drive went well. Since then I've had varying degrees of success. Vacation = bad; other times = anywhere from OK to great. Still a long road ahead, though. Hopefully NaBloPoMo will make me blog more than once every two months!
