Looking through the Blogs posted on NaBloPoMo, one would think that no one Blogs after the age of 50. We're not over-the-hill. We're over-the- rainbow. Is there anyone else out there?

Name or Pseudonym:
Elizabeth Coplan
About Me:
I'm a previously retired marketing professional, a wife and the mother of two children. To help make it through the day, I occasionally stop to write about my mothering experiences. As an over 50 mom, I find life with my children similar to a roller coaster ride. My days are colored by tremendous highs, unbelievable lows, and frequent urges to throw up. Since joining the support group profiled in A Wild Ride, I appreciate the highs, understand the lows, and laugh out loud whenever possible.

At one point during a game, the coach said to one of his young players, "Do you understand what cooperation… Continue

National Stress Øut Week -- Wild Movement

For some reason, jumping up and down seems to quiet my son. Of course, trampoline's scare me to death (there's a reason insurance companys' don't cover them!). My son also enjoys pogo sticks and jump rope. Both are activities he struggled with at first but took pride in build… Continue

National Stress Øut Week -- Music, Movement and Your Child

The same rewards of movement and exercise apply to your challenging child. Let them enjoy some wild music and dance around the room with them. My son who hates loud noises LOVES to turn on his own music full blast and then dance with his eyes closed as if he were the only… Continue
