But I don't have a minute at the moment, because my babe is barking at me to splash with her in the first rain puddles we've had in months, my husband needs help attaching a photo to an email, my dog is panting to be walked/petted/fed/repeat, my boss needs me to cross a "t" for her (right after I dot that "i"!), my editor needs 400 (hopefully) brilliant words by yesterday, a column by tomorrow, my girly bits need a waxing something fierce and CALGON, TAKE ME AWAY!!!

Marriage is hard. So hard, apparently, that after nearly 35 years of it, Carlos Santana’s wife is throwing in the kitchen towel. A Gray Day Inside

I've been thinking a lot about Ruby's birthmother lately.
