I've also started an ongoing project where I scanned in a ton of embarrassing childhood photos and I'm writing commentary on them. So far, people seem to love it.

A few months ago, I was at a loss for posting topics - not NaBloPoMo connected, just too much real world stuff going on that couldn't yet be blogged - so I did this:

I took photos from my past that had funny stories attached and I wrote exactly 500 words about them. FOr a project born of desperation and closed-lippedness, it was incredibly well received and when I announced I was doing NBPM, a lot of my readers suggested I pick it up again when I need material!

SO! That's my advice.
