How to adopt a cat

I’ve recently had two people ask for advise on adoption a new cat or kitten, so I thought I’d make my advise public. First off, realize that the only thing I’m an expert on is being a total sucker for furry friends. But I’ve had lots of experience with cats that I can hopefully help you with.

Thomas and my first kiss

I was 8 when I got my very first boyfriend - Thomas was 8 too and we were both in the 4th grade. We were the biggest geeks on our school bus route - I was the geeky girl who was teeny-tiny a year younger then everyone and loved the violin and piano.
