National Blog Posting Month
Looks like I won't have access to a computer every day in May - so I will write in my journal and then post entries per the day I wrote them. I'm going on vacation, so I imagine all those days will have some kind of exciting entry. Returning to old places also stirs up memories - so I am sure I will have a lot to write.
This will be fun because I am also participating in a May Sharpie event - ATCs for the month of May - we sign up for a card number challenge - I'm taking some blanks wi…

I keep thinking of a song, "Voices, I hear Voices..." I think it was from Miami Vice - some song they played - I'll have to find out more - it's on the fringe of my memory.

I just saw some photos on a web site illustrating the consumption in the United States. Taken as one item advertised on television, you shrug your shoulder and go on about your business. When you see a mountain of cell phone chargers and an ocean of cell phones representing what people throw away every day - it staggers the mind. http://chrisjordan.com
I am sick to death of car and trcuk commercials on television. I used to think, "who buys a trcuk…

It's a joke. We are newly retired and the current selection option for our health care HMO is being eliminated next year - the default option costs $400 more a MONTH than our current option. I am looking at the other low cost options available through the plan, but I just started.
To me, a $400 a month increase is a pretty big one. We had to run around this year finding various clinics to get flu shots, as our doctors are not offering them - even to high-risk patients. Not offereing th…
