I remember wondering where I could get chunky enough wool to fit the hook I saw. I think that kind of chunky would make great baby blankets.
You should post some of your poetry! I think there's a poetry group on here, too....
Actually in Big W the other day I saw a crochet hook that would probably have been around 1.5cm thick. Not sure if that would be big enough, but just wanted to let you know that they do make some HUGE hooks.
