- I'm a 46-year-old mom to a wonderful boy who turns 6-years-old on November 14. Nate was adopted from Vietnam on March 22, 2002.
I'm also wife to Frank, academic librarian of 20 years, and all around silly person who likes to something think deep thoughts of adoption, growing as a family, and other various and sundry topics. On the other hand, I can -- and have -- written entries on topics as goofy as "fun socks," "80's glasses," and how I suck as a junior church teacher.
I write mostly about adoption, motherhood, and adoptive motherhood. Interesting how those collide -- HA!! But I don't know that I can commit myself to writing about only one topic for an entire month, so I'll just write about whatever moves me at the time.
I hope some of you come along for the ride. It can be a dizzying one, but so far I've survived it. ;) You might want to bring the motion sickness pills though, Just In Case. Heh.

my real NaBloPoMo posts are on my blog. Well, I put my first blog post both here and there. But otherwise, they're on my blog and I'm just not going to put them both here and there. I'm not gonna, I don't have'ta, you can't make me!!

NaBloPoMo
Yes, I've signed up for NaBloPoMo. This is my month to a write a post every day, without fail and without cheating (i.e. backposting posts) and posting even on weekends. Previously I've posted every day or almost every day so I think I'm up for this challenge. I just hope I can post more than "I'm tired," or more likely "I'm tired and I'm really really cranky."
