Project 1 has consumed more than thirty hours over two days. I've hit almost 41,000 words and the best thing I can say is that it will end today. Maybe int he morning. Maybe in the afternoon. It's a story I feel needs telling and it's coming out well. My characters haven't decided to bombard me with messages about how they can do better. The plots line up well. And, mostly, I feel good about it.
As for blogging my way through it, it's been a hoot. I didn't realize how important it was…

Wow! I didn't think I could do so well. More than 10,000 words and the day's not over yet. I took a break to let my brain grab the next part of the book but I think this one will make me think twice about any other NaNo project I do.
It's really fun blogging about what I'm doing. My characters are gelling. I've always had a tough time getting down emotions and scene in first person, so decided to do jus that with this project. My poor gal is suffering now, but isn't that the way the op…

With only a day and a half to go, I have tons to finish before starting NaNo. Wow. I've never been this slow before. I sure hope it doesn't bode ill for my attempt this year. My first novel is ready but I still have to outline my second. This afternoon is devoted to doing it on my laptop, to get away from the temptation of the internet. Stay tuned for more on this exciting adventure as my characters come to life and I live and breathe NaNo until I'm finished.
