Saturday. It has been a beautiful day. Sunshine, warm temperature and a breeze. Couldn't have been a better November day. Did I say November? Yikes. Thursday is Thanksgiving.
I picked up hay this morning for my granddog. The Humane Society gives away hay each fall for bedding.
Then I met my mom to pick up the food we ordered from Angel Food Ministries. Always a nice variety and a lot of meat this time. I share it with my two kids now that they are out making a go of it on their own. We… Continue

We lost a good man this week. His wife remains a saint in the eyes of everyone that knew them.
He was hurt several years ago in an accident involving a horse. He was young with small children, many friends and a loving extended family. He hasn't talked or walked or been able to care for himself since. His wife has been with him 24/7 since the accident. If not for her he would not have lived this long but she took exceptional care of him. He left us on Thursday afternoon. A blessing? A trage… Continue

The only group I belong to here at ning is a blog topic suggestion group. I probably needed something like it before now but I only just discovered it yesterday. I didn't have anything exciting to write about today so went to the topic group and today the topic is grandparents.
