I have been dabbling a bit more with photography and recently had the opportunity to photograph my friend Tim's band (he is the drummer). They are getting ready to play some gigs in the area and wanted a cover for their CD and possibly a poster. Never mind that I have no experience taking pics in low light, concert stage settings or action photography, but I offered my services at a great price (free). I am not posting anything today because I decided it was time to clean the house, my office, my life. How could anyone work or by happy in this mess? I turned off the computer for 6 hours - my back thanked me. Does this count as a post?

Beauty is when I am at peace. A time when my children are happy, the sun is high in the sky and we are playing gleefully at the park. It is a time when my thoughts are not on the many things I need to accomplish, but on the simplicity of life and all that it has to offer. The smiles on children’s faces, the smell of Autumn leaves, the sounds of laughter and squeaky swings.
