Thursday Pucker Fest!

1. Those them there are puckering prairie dogs you're looking at.

2. Emily's home and she's in great shape! Relatively speaking, of course. Thank you, meds that make her sleepy. And thank you, blender and straws for making feeding her possible and for making oh so yummy milkshakes and smoothies oh so easy. And thank you Miss Emily for being such an awesome patient - to the major delight not only of me but the nursing staff as well. I must mention that the hospital's nursing staff was the absolute best ever.

3. Because Emily's lips are swollen and dry, I've been lip balm shopping. This stuff, Zambeezi, is the absolute best, bar none, the tip top lip balm I've ever tried. People, smooth this gunk over your lips and your lips will be smoother and softer than they have been since you were born. My enthusiasm for this stuff clearly shows my current appreciation for all things comfy.

4. A special shout out to my BFF, Dianna, AKA Mrs. Perfect! She's again shown me her incredible kindness, thoughtfulness and just plain astonishing perfection. Um, the only problem is that she may not appreciate today's Mamarazzi. Despite the fact that she and I rarely vote for the same candidate, I love Mrs. P. to death.

5. Last but first, thank y'all for all of your kind words and good thoughts. They sure made me feel good and sleepy, swollen Emily appreciated them more than you can imagine.
