I'm up to 30,626 words on my NaNo Novel so I'm feeling reasonably smug.

The thing is, I am running out of material. They say you should Write What You Know. Well, 30,000 words is about as much as I know, and so now I'm stuck for ideas.

Thank you to all of the wonderful bloggers out there who have befriended me!!! I was never this popular on facebook, let alone in high school. I'm going to wear my Wine Makes Mummy Clever tshirt next time I go to the supermarket and see how many more new friends I make, because clearly it's the Power Of the Shirt.

I have stumbled upon so many great new blogs since signing up for this crazy challenge. If I don't succeed in posting every day, at least I'll have met 33 (and counting) new bloggers. I've added everyone I've had time to add to my Bloglines feed, and I hope to read at least some of the NaBlo posts next month. When I'm not NaBloPoMo'ing and NaNoWriMo'ing myself... oh my god... it's starting to sink in.... What have I done?

The line on my tshirt comes from a book called "Great Lies to Tell
Small Kids" by Andy Riley, who also wrote "The Bunny Suicides" books.
They're HILARIOUS.

As a Canberra girl it's killing me a little to have the Sydney skyline as my banner, but the options were limited. For the sake of NaBloPoMo, and to identify myself as one of The Aussies, I'm prepared to make these small sacrifices.
