In addition, she is a birth junkie and is in the process of certifying as a childbirth instructor through CAPPA. She monitors legal developments which affect mothering, such as midwifery, breastfeeding, education and homeschooling, healthcare policy, and so forth. "The Mommy Blawg" is primarily a legal blog. "The Baby Blawg" is a pregnancy/personal journal which contains links to pregnancy, breastfeeding, and child care information.
