This site is so glitchy that it makes me want to scream. And given that the glitches are obviously in the infrastructure, there's really nothing that can be done about it. I try to feature a NaBloPoMo blog on this ain't livin' every weekday during November, because I'm all about the linking love, but the blogroll is so out of control at this point that I really don't have time to weed through it looking for good blogs. I'm experimenting with cake recipes this week, because my birthday is rapidly approaching and I need to create the perfect cake. Cake #2 is cooling on the rack right now, and I think it might be the one, as in the most excellent cake ever. My whole house is filled with the intoxicating scent of delicious fluffy vanilla buttermilk cake, which is why I'm posting on Ning, because I need to exercise self control and let the cake cool so that I can make frosting for it before I try a slice.

I am wicked excited about doing NaBloPoMo again. Last time, I got introduced to an amazing number of awesome blogs, and I hope the NaBloPoMo Randomizer gets resurrected again, because I had hours of fun with it. Being a freelance writer, I'm pretty good at finding procrastination tools, and the Randomizer was one of the best procrastinating tools ever.
