About Me:: I am a huge mass of lumbering contradictions.

I have a BA in English Lit / Creative Writing from one of the top-ten Women’s colleges in the South. It hasn’t helped me land the perfect job - I don’t have it in me to play the corporate lackey - but it did give me a better sense of self.

I currently live in South Florida and am waiting patiently to leave the state, yet again. I suffer horribly from “itchy-feet” syndrome, known only to military brats, and those who have moved consistently throughout their lives. Wanderlust is not a compulsion - it’s a way of life.

Okay, so ~~I broke up with~~ got dumped by my boyfriend right about 4 months ago. (For those of you who have been following along for a while, this is old news.) All things told, it was a fairly easy transition - I gave myself a month to grieve and once that month was up, I quit letting my heart rule my life about it. With the exception of a snarky comment here and an argument in my head there, I haven't really thought much about it.

As If I'm Not Sleep-Deprived Already

This will probably be my only blog until the first of November.

I'm not sure how I'm going to manage posting blogs every day for the month of November - Working 72-hours a week doesn't leave time for much of anything beyond working, eating, and sleeping - but I'm going to try to stay on top of it.

I'm also a big fan of Shaun of the Dead (their latest Hot Fuzz was fantastic) and first saw it only because I needed to push the horrors of Dawn of the Dead out of my head (nightmare's galore!).
