A Steady Stream of Rejection
For the last six weeks I have been really diligent about putting out
resumes and applications pretty much everywhere I think I could got a
somewhat fulfilling job. And, as usual, the lack of response I have
received I have translated into some sort of personal rejection, which

I've Looked at Tests from Both Sides Now
Yesterday I wrote three tests for my job applications with the
Government. It was weird being in the desk instead of being the test
monitor. After the first one, a mere ninety minutes, the proctor said,
"I know. It's a long test. Go stretch your legs and we'll start again
at 11:00." And I thought, "A LONG TEST?"

Vegetarians and Animal Crackers: Faux pas?
