What's with the low rise jeans?

Why do they no longer sell regular jeans that fit regular women? I don't appreciate emphasizing my ever-growing hips and ass thankyouverymuch. Not to mention never-ever-being-able-to-bend-over-again.

That's a pleasant feeling when picking up your kid from daycare and the father next to you looking at your ass-crack.
