Finished NaNoWriMo...

I got my 50,000 done a day early even.

One more day of posting here and I will have met my goal here, too.

I figure my novel is probably about halfway finished. But after saying "I'm going to write a book" for a decade now, it's good to have finally get the damn thing started.

Meanwhile... Awesomeboss is driving me crazy. One day he talks about how bad the environment is at the office and how I should get the hell out of there and the next he's talking about not taking…

I've noticed...

I've noticed a real difference between the way women work and the way men work...

Case in point. It's not 10PM yet. I've washed the dishes (albeit a small dishload night), cleaned the bunny cage, gotten out the meat to thaw for dinner tomorrow, paid bills and cleaned up the kitchen... so, pretty much everything I HAD to do tonight in about 45 minutes.

The same set of tasks would take any man I know an entire afternoon. And likely it would be a complaint-ridden afternoon.…

COLD

It was NINE whole degrees when I went to work this morning.

I am sitting here freezing now. Who can afford heat? Speaking of which... why is it that I'd love it to be 68 degrees in the summer when the house is about 90 degrees but in the winter, when it's freezing outside, 68 degrees in the house is hand numbingly cold?

I'm not ready for this. Nor am I ready for the snow that's in the forecast.

The Tide

We had a good weekend. I know you're glad it didn't go as I had planned it, but it was a good weekend nonetheless.
