I wrote an email to my mother-in-law, aka American Mom, telling her what we've been up to: we were sick but are better now, spent Halloween watching a scary movie with friends, freaking out about THE ELECTION. I didn't really think twice about it. And then I get an email back from her. She wants more details!!!
Now, how do I confess that not only did we not dress up but we watched a "horror" movie titled The Hole?! I worry she would be disappointed.

Prof. Grady is working on a photo-essay about the current US presidential election for a new Bulgarian weekly magazine called Idealist. He's doing most of the work on Tuesday but in the last couple of days
he's spent quite some time taking photographs of election activities,
activists and artifacts that would appear, among other things, strange
to Bulgarians. Earlier today we walked over to the Obama campaign
office here
So, with some trepidation, I am announcing my second annual involvement in National Blog Posting Month. I will try to post once every day in the month to come.
My hope for this year is to find a bunch of other mix-breeders like Kyle and myself. I.e. I am hoping to meet other people who are romantically involved with partners who do not share their nationality. Something tells me there are plenty of laughs out to be shared.
