Poet with a Day Job

I've totally been blogging

I have been blogging daily at my regular blog. So I will repeat again: I am already experiencing a shortage of words to put up over there, so why would I blog here? I have noticed some are using this as their secret blog, but I don't even have any secrets anymore.

I will say, though, that I love being able to add friends to a friendroll. That's fun. All our pictures are so cute.

And also, I am DYING to win a prize.

Oh, Poet, no wonder I like you so much. ; ) We called Easthampton our first home-- we drove down R 10 from a totally horrible viewing of a hellhole in NoHo, during which time the BH was joking about wanting to live where "a mountain meets a pond." Lo and behold, at the intersection of Rt 10 and 141? The Lower Mill Pond. Perfect. The apartment was not far away, was perfect, and there we lived for three years. We bought a John Gnatek print at the Nashawannuck Gallery on 141 that now hangs over the bed in our home in Boston. Last week we were walking and saw someone with a "Flywheel" T shirt.

Poet, I'm sure it's all just an outgrowth of everyone's desire (admitted or not) to be popular. This is actually the only overtly "social" site I belong to, if Flickr doesn't count, and I keep wondering, umm, should I start video blogging? nah...

this place reminds me of yahoo 360 a bit - it sort of yells at you if you haven't added groups, or photos - kinda like a manipulative friend.

Hi, Poet, followed you here from Amy Sharp's page, read your blog, and enjoyed your tale o'spin, as well as your plea for virtual befriending. So... will you be my friend, and not mock the poetry on my site?

Seems like so much work to manage all the other blogs and profile pages AND my own, and stupid overachiever me I have two. What's my problem? Don't answer that.
