About Me:: I'm Ruby, thirtysomething-mom-of-three-multi-tasking-shape-shifting-always-juggling too much stuff, fiery redhead! I am as sarcastic as can be & find myself forever in awe of people in general! I'm the girl that says what everyone else thinks but in such a calm way that the reality of the words takes a minute to register. I'm addicted to Starbucks, book stores, anything heart shaped & black & white photography. I LOVE fairies, candles, blue flowers, vintage Strawberry Shortcake, burlesque, vinyl, sour apple martini's and 80's anything.

I don't back down.. ♥ ...But I have NO place for drama in my everyday life ♥I LOVE musicals and soundtracks ♥ I'll have your back IF you have mine, no matter what ♥ I can spend hours in a Borders ♥ I'm a coffee whore ♥ I can be a little ditsy ♥... but don't let that fool you ♥ Libraries are heaven on earth- period ♥ I work out.. and I love it ♥ I like ALL music ♥ Well all EXCEPT country ♥ Any beach truly is the happiest place on earth ♥ I love everything about winter- the snow, ice, pink sky ♥ I'm a sucker for anything magical (unicorns, fairies, mermaids, ect) ♥ I hate racism, religious love bombing and closemindedness in general ♥ I really hate people whose egos are three times the size of their talent

It's Christmas Tree Day :)

What can go wrong? I'd rather not think about it. I prefer to delude myself into believing that the tree will fit in the door, the decorations & lights will be perfect & most important of all, it'll still be standing tomorrow morning. We had a late dinner last night, turkey melts (What is it, the 7 days of leftover turkey?) & coffee. Simple & yummy. It reminded me of a lousy meal last week. Musical Hola Daze

So after I said I'd write something substantial the dog decided it was a great time to get sick. And sick. And sicker. And oh look over there, DOG BARF! You get the feel for my entire morning now right? 2 baths & 2 loads of laundry later I *think* we're over the worst of it.

Have You Noticed...

...All the people who have updated their status today, saying they are ill? MySpace virus or what? I'm not so hot either. I swore I wasn't leaving the house today & instead found myself fumbling around Walgreens at 5:30 this morning in search of something to knock down (not out, but down at least) my migraine. Gobble.

I am racing to post this because I have a ton to do before B's dance class. How are things, how am I? Lost in a haze of So You Think You Can Dance season 2 that's how. Remember I said I'd ordered the dvds, well obviously I have them & it's costing me sleep. At midnite you'll find me happily watching or last night I was seriously in tears when Natalie & Allison were the bottom two & one of them HAD TO go.
