Last year at this time we had just received our results for our IPS and had been to see a genetic counselor. I can still remember the utter agony while waiting to talk to the doctor.

On Halloween after I sent Chicka and Frenchie out trick or treating I sat on the front steps and took a minute to remember and be thankful. Sleepless nights seem like a small price compared to what could have been.

Yesterday evening I was plagued with memories of last years Halloween which was pretty freaking awful to say the least. I may post about it yet but in the meantime.....it's NaBloPoMo time!

In the past I've been a daily poster. I didn't find it hard at all as I seemed to have lots to say. Either that or I had a knack for saying a lot about nothing. :)

Help! If I'm going to be even marginally successful at NaBloPoMo I'm going to have to come up with a theme of some sort. I'm one of those people that writes best when in pain or unhappy and right now, I'm pretty content and therefore can't think of much to write.

How will I ever pull off 30 posts in 30 days and not bore everyone to tears?

Well, let's see now. Still feeling my way around this site. I'm not sure if I'll crosspost my posts here or not. Perhaps I will.

For what it's worth, I am in doubt as to whether or not I'll be successful at this endeavor. My 6 month old is pretty demanding and gets jealous when I spend time with my computer. :) I am definitely in need of an infusion of energy into my blog though. I hope that this is it.
